I just threw in a jspec tranny, clutch, thermostat, radiator, that stupid 3 inch coolant hose going to the driver side turbo that cracked and downpipes. Unfortunately the person I bought the car from gutted the precats out so the downpipes didn't change the sound of the car at all or add any significant power...feels like it pulls a tiny bit harder thos. I took the car to an 1/8 mile track and it's doing the same thing as before...if it sits idling for over 10 minutes it will start to overheat. It doesn't do it on a day to day basis but I was lined up waiting to go on my third run and the needle starts slowly moving above the middle. Is it possible my under drive pulleys aren't spinning my waterpump fast enough? It doesn't overheat under load or hauling ass or free way driving....it's just if I start it up and leave it idling. With the new thermostat and radiator I am stumped. It seems like heat builds up in the engine bay way to much without the wind of driving
